Morality and Aesthetics

I was browsing the TED website when I stumbled upon a thought provoking talk called The real difference between liberals and conservatives by Jonathan Haidt, Associate Professor in Social Psychology at the University of Virginia. In the talk he presents some interesting results from an online Morality Quiz

After watching the talk I Googled him and came across a great interview he did with The Believer. One of the key things he says in the interview is:

I think whatever is true of aesthetic judgment is true of moral judgment, except that in our moral lives we do need to justify, whereas we don’t generally ask others for justifications of aesthetic judgments.
